macOS, taken further

DockScope

A new project by Ighor July focused on pushing the familiar macOS Dock beyond its usual limits while keeping the experience native, practical, and unmistakably Mac.

Why I build

First-of-their-kind Mac apps that push productivity beyond the macOS defaults.

I build original tools that remove long-standing annoyances and unlock capabilities macOS does not provide on its own, without sacrificing the native experience.

The DockScope story

Built for my own Mac. Refined for more than a decade.

Since 2008, I have been fixing macOS for myself, using other tools where they helped and creating my own where they did not. I share some of those discoveries in Mac App Stories.

DockScope is one of my earliest projects. I created it more than ten years ago and have used it ever since. It became part of my daily workflow, and now I am preparing it for everyone as DockScope.app. I will make it public only when it meets the high standards I set for every app I release.

Features are being designed, built, and tested with a focus on a polished macOS experience.
